At Here to Serve Renewables, we believe that the energy transition is not just about megawatts, steel, or silicon. It is about people. It is about the men and women who wake up before dawn, put on their boots, and do the hard, essential work of building the infrastructure that powers our future.
For too long, the tradesperson has been undervalued. We reject that narrative. We believe that practical mastery, apprenticeship, and sweat equity are just as valuable — if not more so — than borrowed credentials. We are here to forge paid career pathways in renewables, proving that a career in the trades is a path to prosperity, pride, and purpose.
We don’t just build projects; we build communities. Our motto is our name: Here to Serve®. It is who we are, who our teams are, and what makes our teams so special. We believe that if you have a strong vision and treat your team and clients well, a profitable business is a natural byproduct of the work. We hire for heart, we train for legacy, and we lead with servant leadership.
There are no shortcuts. We are committed to providing a hands-on, white-glove experience for our customers, anchored by an uncompromising dedication to safety and quality. When we say we will do something, we do it. Our word is our bond.

About Nikki
Nikki Cummings — Wife, Mom, Entrepreneur, and proud American Job Creator — has over 20 years of experience creating, developing, and leading successful teams that scale. In 2007, Nikki co-founded World Wind & Solar (WWS) with her husband and business partner Buddy Cummings. WWS became the largest independent service provider to the renewable energy sector, growing from inception to over 530 employees nationwide.
Under Nikki’s leadership as President, WWS was named Energy Business of the Year in Kern County, Regional Outstanding Business of the Year by the SBDC, and California Small Business of the Year by the SBA.
After selling WWS in 2019 and founding Cummings Camp Programs — a leadership development organization for the construction industry — Nikki and the team decided it was time to get back in the business. As Chief Executive Officer of Here to Serve® Workforce Solutions, LLC, Nikki sets the strategic vision and drives operational execution, leading a team of seasoned professionals committed to the hands-on, white-glove experience of Safety, Quality, and Service they are known for.
Today, Nikki and her family live in Pensacola, Florida, and spend time on their cattle ranch in the Tehachapi Mountains of California. Since 2021, she has served as a Mentor in Residence for the MIT Venture Mentoring Services program.
